Excel Beginning and Advanced

Excel is one of the most widely utilized programs in business. Spreadsheets are common when generating any type of report. Working comfortably in Excel is a requirement to go very far in business.

This 16-hour Excel class will start with Excel Basics and move through some of the more advanced topics in Excel. Practice exercises and data files will be utilized throughout the class. Each person will receive a copy of the Excel Bible for use in the class.

  • Formulas for Financial Analysis
  • Understanding and Using Array Formulas
  • Making Formulas Error Free
  • Beginning and Advanced Charting Techniques
  • Creating Sparkline Graphics
  • Implementing Excel Dashboarding Best Practices
  • Importing and Cleaning Data
  • Linking and Consolidating Worksheets
  • Analyzing Data with Pivot Tables
  • Analyzing with the Analysis ToolPak

The Excel class will be done over two days. It can be presented in person or online. If done online, it will be with a live instructor. Recorded modules will be available, but sometimes it is hard to finish without the encouragement of an instructor. If online is chosen, expect regular contact from an instructor.
